We docked
in Port Melbourne before due time. As we were in no hurry to disembark, we let
everyone else get away and off the ship. We pottered off and went to catch a
tram but there was work being carried out on the line so we had to catch a bus.
We had topped up our Myki transport cards before arriving, but did not need to
use them! Well done Melbourne.
Visited
Harbourtown at Docklands. Not much happening there, so caught the tram back to
Federation Square. Picked up a few city walk guides for another time and
crossed the Yarra to walk back along Southbank. After a stop for an ice cream
along the way we meandered back to hop on the bus back to the ship.
All in all
a good day.
We were in for a treat in the evening The Aussie Boys were the entertainment! We had seen these young men on a previous cruise and they are outstanding.
