The weather had improved substantially and we had a relaxing day at sea even spending some time in the well equipped gym. It’s amazing where the day goes, doing nothing much at all!

We did actually have our Cruise Critic get together early in the day which was fun. I was amazed at the number of Officers who turned up! Including the Captain! I’ve been very impressed with how visible the officers are around the ship. The cruise Director introduced everyone and then asked if anyone wanted to take the mic. Well there were two of us who had been involved on the board and so we were left to take the floor.

I wanted to connect with everyone who was interested in the lunch on board – 75 of us – and I also got the chance to speak to the Hotel Director about arrangements, which was very convenient.
